Lion Saltworks Trust got funding!

Andrew Fielding, of the Lion Saltworks Trust, sends this information:

"At long last the Lion Salt Works has in place all the funding needed to start building work. The Heritage Lottery Fund have agreed a grant of 5 million pounds and we have 2 million pounds in match funding to complete the estimates for the work. We have project managers in place and architects will begin work on the final Bill of Quantities and then go out to tender across the EU as per the procurement regulations. We expect to be able to open the first part of the site with a café and shop at the beginning of 2010".
